In all styles of Taekwondo, the first belt is white belt.
Beginners are given a white belt when they start Taekwondo. As they train and improve in Taekwondo, they will be given higher colour belts, until they reach black belt.
In most styles of Taekwondo, the next solid-colour belt up from white belt is yellow belt.
In almost all styles of Taekwondo, white belt corresponds to 10th grade.
